On this sketch I added some piers to the bridge.  I was trying out some website addresses to see how they would look.

This is one of the last sketches, the bride & groom in the logo is my wife & I.  In this sketch, I was concentrating on the position of the groom and the bride’s dress.  The Aerial Lift Bridge is such a great icon of Duluth, that’s why I wanted to incorporate it into the logo.

After an hour or so of sketching different ideas, ideas in my head started to solidify.   Here’s one of first brainstorm sketches, including Enger Tower and a wedding cake with a cake topper.  I also experimented with different font ideas.

I redrew the bridge, bride & groom and scanned them into the computer.  My wife did the rest, by putting together the logo and dressing it up on the computer using various graphic design programs.  I think it looks awesome, and she did a really great job, I recommend her for your logo needs.  Here’s the final logo with the website at the bottom.
